What is allergic rhinitis?

Commonly known as “hay fever,” allergic rhinitis is a chronic inflammatory condition of the nasal passages caused by allergens such as pollen, dust mites, pet dander and mold. 

How do you know if you have it?

Symptoms usually involve a runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, nasal congestion and even a sore throat at times. 

Symptoms can be intermittent (less than 4 days/week) or persistent (more than 4 days/week)

If allergies are impacting your life, our virtual Allergy Care program may be just what you need—helping you find fast, experienced and personalized care. 

If any of these scenarios apply, however, you may not be eligible.

  • Under 18 years of age
  • Pregnant
  • Reside outside the state of Texas
  • Previous allergy testing history at an allergy center within the last 12 months
  • Currently taking allergy injections
  • Currently under the care of a Baylor Scott & White allergist within the past 12 months

If none of these apply, you are eligible for this program.
