Preparing the next generation of surgeons for advanced genitourinary reconstruction techniques

Over the course of this one-year program at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth, reconstructive urology fellows receive a comprehensive clinical experience in both male and female genitourinary reconstruction at a nationally recognized hospital.

Led by highly experienced surgeons, the program provides a robust, hands-on apprenticeship teaching the innovative skills and techniques needed to deliver exceptional genitourinary outcomes using advanced technologies.

Surgical training


A wide-ranging surgical training experience
With a high volume of surgical cases, fellows have the opportunity to care for male and female urology patients with diverse needs. The program includes a heavy focus on robotic-assisted surgery, especially for abdominal procedures.

Male conditions and procedures

  • Excision of Peyronies plaque with autologous dermal grafting
  • Tunica plication
  • Male urethroplasty and bladder neck reconstruction
  • Hypospadias repair
  • Prosthesis surgery – both penile and AUS including complex redo cases
  • Complex fistula repairs

Female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery

  • Slings
  • Mesh removal and reconstruction
  • Repair of cystocele
  • Rectocele
  • Enterocele and vaginal prolapse
  • Complex fistula repairs
  • Urethroplasty
  • Diverticulectomy
  • Urethral construction with local flap
  • Transvaginal urethral closure with diversion

Fellows will learn from and be mentored by highly regarded surgeons on the faculty and medical staff at Baylor Scott & White – Fort Worth.
