Andrew Marcus Hawrylak, MD

Dr. Andrew Hawrylak is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine who practices in the subspecialty of Inpatient Medicine. His professional interests include perioperative medicine, quality improvement and patient safety, interfacility transfers, and education of medical students and residents.


Dr. Hawrylak is passionate about improving safety for his adult patients who are experiencing the delicate transitions of care in and from the hospital. He also strives to be a champion of medical student and resident learning and evidence-based practice.

Dr. Hawrylak is a Senior Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling, reading fiction, and writing.
