Andrew Carl Kontak, MD

Dr. Andrew Kontak is a board-certified, non-invasive cardiologist. His professional interests include general cardiology, preventive cardiology, nuclear cardiology, hypertension, arrhythmias, lipid management, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation and echocardiography.


Among Dr. Kontak’s most common procedures are diagnosing and managing heart-related conditions without performing surgery or other invasive procedures by using tools such as echocardiograms, stress tests, computed tomography scans and electrocardiograms. He is passionate about helping his adult patients manage risk factors like high blood pressure and high cholesterol through medications, lifestyle changes and preventive care.

Dr. Kontak is a proud member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, watching movies and attending sporting events and music concerts. Dr. Kontak’s other hobbies include golf, which he’s been playing since the age of four.
