Danny Carlton Little, MD

Dr. Dan Little is a board-certified pediatric surgeon who also serves as Chief of Surgery for McLane Children’s Hospital and has been active in surgical education for residents and students.


Dr. Little enjoys practicing the full gamut of pediatric surgery including minimally invasive surgery, surgical oncology and burn surgery. During his time at Baylor Scott & White, he has served in numerous hospital leadership roles, including the development of a Level II trauma program and Level IV NICU programs.

He is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association Pediatric Trauma Society. He is certified in pediatric surgery, surgical critical care and general surgery.

Dr. Little is married and has four children. He serves as a Commander in the United States Naval Reserves. When not at the hospital he enjoys long-distance hiking, multi-sport events and Boy Scouts.
