Jeffrey Kopita, MD, FACP, FCCP

Dr. Kopita is board-certified in pulmonary medicine as well as hospice and palliative medicine. He attained his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He then completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Dr. Kopita’s clinical interests include palliative medicine, thoracic oncology, dyspnea, chronic cough, asthma, bronchiectasis, nontuberculous mycobacterial disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) as well as bronchoscopy. Dr. Kopita is married with two children and enjoys listening to music, traveling and photography. He currently serves as medical director of Baylor Scott & White Pulmonary and Sleep Specialists.
