Lina Liu, MD

Dr. Lina Liu is a board-certified physician specializing in anatomic and clinical pathology. Her professional interests include general surgical pathology, genitourinary pathology, cytopathology and fine needle aspiration biopsy.

Dr. Liu is passionate about getting to know the patients and understanding their histories, from newborns to older adults. She likes to communicate with patients during the fine needle aspiration procedure, providing immediate pathologic diagnosis to patients and clinicians. She also finds it rewarding to teach future pathologists during patient care.


She is a senior member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the American Society of Cytopathology.

Outside of work, Dr. Liu enjoys hiking.
