Melody Sherwood, MD

Melody Sherwood, MD is board certified and specializes in the treatment of patients with congestive heart failure. Her clinical interests include advanced heart failure, transplant, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary vascular disease. After graduating cum laude from Texas A&M University, Dr. Sherwood earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She began graduate medical training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease. She continued her medical training at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas completing a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant. Dr. Sherwood is on the medical staff at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
