Michael Daniel Grant, MD

Dr. Grant is a Surgical Oncologist who specializes in breast cancer. He is board certified in general surgery with training in breast surgery. Dr. Grant attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX. He then completed his residency in General Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, and a fellowship in Surgical Oncology of the Breast at Baylor Dallas. Dr. Grant believes in the importance of communicating any and all information necessary for his patients to make good medical decisions concerning their own personal diagnoses. Dr. Grant is the principal investigator for the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project (NSABP) clinical trials for Baylor Dallas. NSABP is a nationwide cooperative research group conducting studies dedicated to finding treatment for and reducing incidence of breast cancer. He also partakes in studies for gamma-probe guided resection of the sentinel lymph node in breast cancer and breast fine needle aspiration of women at high risk for breast cancer. Dr. Grant is married with two kids and enjoys spending time with his family and dogs.
