Palak Kishorkumar Parekh, MD

Dr. Palak Parekh is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist with an emphasis on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, alopecia, complex medical dermatology, and acne.


Dr. Parekh is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology, and the Texas Dermatological Society. She received her certifications in dermatology and dermatopathology from the American Board of Dermatology.  She serves on numerous hospital committees, is a reviewer for several journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), and is on the editorial board for JAAD Reviews.

As the dermatology residency program director, Dr. Parekh is committed to superior resident and medical student education.

She enjoys running, traveling, yoga and spending time with family and friends.
