Russell Alan Ward, MD

Dr. Russell Ward is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in orthopedic oncology and joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. His professional interests include bone and soft tissue sarcoma, benign bone and soft tissue tumors, bone metastasis and joint reconstruction.


Dr. Ward is passionate about providing exceptional care for his patients of all ages suffering with sarcoma. He is committed to working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide the highest level of medical and surgical care while training the next generation of surgeons and supporting research in the discipline.

Dr. Ward is a member of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, the Connective Tissue Oncology Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Association.

Outside of work, Dr. Ward enjoys spending time with family, skiing and hiking.
