Sima Yogesh Desai, MD

Dr. Desai is a board certified Physiatrist with professional interests in non-operative musculoskeletal medicine including peripheral joint injections/nerve blocks, sports medicine, non-interventional pain management, spasticity management including baclofen pump management and botox injections; post stroke, amputation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury management. She also has a strong interest in rehab management of neuromuscular disorders and movement disorders. Dr. Desai attended medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science at The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago. She then went on to complete her internal medicine internship at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, followed by residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. In her spare time she enjoys running, racquet sports, and being new to the Dallas area, she looks forward to exploring any and all restaurants or food joints in the area.
