S. Ali Zamin, MD, FACC

Dr. Zamin completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA before attending medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He then moved to Temple, TX where he completed both his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Baylor Scott & White – Texas A&M School of Medicine. Dr. Zamin was happy to be given the opportunity to continue on as faculty at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, TX. He is currently serving as the Associate Program Director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and takes an active role in both graduate and undergraduate medical education. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine for Baylor College of Medicine as well as Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine for Texas A&M School of Medicine. Dr. Zamin has an active clinical practice in ICU care, inpatient care, clinic, echo lab, and cath lab.


Dr. Zamin's areas of expertise include high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart attacks, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and abnormal heart rhythms.
