Tapasdip M. Gajjar, MD

Tapas Gajjar, MD, FHM, CHCQM, is a hospitalist, a physician who provides care to patients during their acute hospital stay.  He also serves as program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program in Round Rock, training the next generation of physicians.  Additionally, he serves as an adjunct assistant professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine.


As a young adult, Dr. Gajjar was not sure what he wanted to be. It was encouragement from his family that led him to take the path of medicine, and in hindsight, he is grateful he did, because he loves what he does.  As a hospitalist, Dr. Gajjar is able to care for patients when they are most vulnerable and at their sickest time, helping them navigate complex medical care and coordinating with their specialists.

Outside of work, he enjoys travel and spending time with his family.

Dr. Gajjar has been recognized as a Top Doc 2024 and 2025 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical speciality.
